Angel was a tiny filly who had been in the knackery supply yards for some time!
We saved her the day before she was to go in the one way truck!
Angel needed lots of rest and TLC.
She had lots of grazes and bruises over her tiny body and a nasty weeping infected wound on her shoulder.
She was also very stiff in her little back legs.
Likely all the result of being on trucks packed with big horses trampling and kicking her.
We cleaned up all her wounds and put her in with a lovely, trusty older mare that kept her company and helped her recover.
When she was fully recovered we had our trainers work with her and Angel was adopted into a loving family, however through no fault of her own, Angel came back into CP care and is now up for adoption again.
