Stardust was one of the very first horses rescued by Cindy's Promise. After devoting her entire life to teaching children to ride, she was left standing in a saleyard pen in a very disturbing state. Skinny, overgrown feet, neglected teeth, full of lice and worms and a nasty wound on her leg. Her eyes were full of hurt and defeat but this was about to change....
Princess Stardust started her rehab at CP where she would be given the best possible treatment and be spoilt rotten. Unfortunately due to the many years of neglect, Stardust had developed severe chronic laminitis. This was monitored very closely with regular x-rays and trims. Sadly, after 2 years in our care, we were no longer able to keep our Princess comfortable so she was put to rest. RIP beautiful Princess!
