Gorgeous chick magnet Jerry was surrendered to CP in January 2016.
Jerry was only a baby. At just 4 years old - Jerry suffered a tendon injury on the race track.
As a result - he ended up in the saleyards.
But he was lucky enough to be purchased and safe from the one way truck.

Jerry had 6 months rest and then began work with our trainer towards his rehoming.
After getting the all clear with his tendon we increased his training and he excelled!
He is an absolute delight in every way.
Just a massive big sook really!!!

We knew he wouldn't last long and was quickly adopted when we put him up for rehoming.

This big sook found a wonderful loving home but sadly due to his owner having some unexpected health issues - she had no choice but return Jerry to CP.
This is a very difficult decision for the owner but one that must be made for the best interests of all. We also agreed to take Jerry's paddock mate "Belle".
Belle is a 9 yo OTT TB mare who had already been rescued from neglect hence Jerry's owner begged us to take her as well to ensure that she never ends up in the wrong hands.

Beautiful Belle found her forever home and gorgeous Jerry found his forever home along with CP buddy Mahalo!
