On 5th March 2016, Rocky arrived at Cindy's Promise extremely emaciated and dehydrated. Sadly this poor boy was so exhausted, he collapsed in his stable just 1 hour after arriving. He was immediately given pain relief and put on IV fluids. The CP team worked hard all night giving electrolytes and desperately trying to get him back on his feet. Poor Rocky also gave his all but never regained enough energy to get back up. His muscles were too sore and his body was just too weak. We made the hard decision to put Rocky to rest after hours of desperate attempts to get him on his feet. Rocky's time with CP was devastatingly short but surrounded by love in his final hours.
