Sadly beautiful Wally has come back to us through no fault of his own. He and Promise were adopted together however circumstances changed and they made their way back to us along with their paddock mate "Rhet" .

Wally is a gorgeous rising 7 yo ex racing TB.
Albeit a failed racer who has an “UNCOMPETITIVE WARNING” on his file.
You see Wally had one start and had no interest in being a racing horse so he was retired before his career began.
Unfortunately more recently - Wally sustained a nasty injury to his back leg in December of 2017.
Wally was heading towards euthanasia as the owners were unable to treat effectively but thankfully they ended up giving him away to someone else who has tried her very best the last couple of months to heal this wound.
Despite a vet visit, antibiotics and bandaging - the wound is still not healing.
Wally was out of options.
The second owner approached us to give Wally one last chance as he is such a beautiful quiet and loving boy.
We think this wound needs a good surgical debridement by our equine vet and possibly a biopsy and wound swab to ensure nothing more sinister is underlying.
