We rescued beautiful Winter from the saleyards in July 2015 in a sorry state after an unsuccessful racing career. Only knackeries were bidding on her. She was depressed with battle wounds on her skinny body. In addition to this she was tested positive for strangles. Winter had surgery to have the abscesses lanced under her jaw. This poor sweetheart needed them opened up surgically to drain. She had to be kept in quarantine until given the all clear which meant she was away from her new bestie "Willow" who she traveled with in the truck. Once she was clear from the nasty infection she was finally able to reunite with Willow. They had an amazing bond and were inseparable.
She transformed into an incredible horse with no faults and was adopted. She is just gorgeous to look at with a nature to match.
