Gorgeous Humphrey had a very interesting history. He was a breed of horse that was bred specifically as war horses. He was a Waler. He was bred by Mr Alex Coppock in the Northern Territory however when the property was sold all of the horses were to be sold. Poor Humphrey had been at many saleyards and very nearly ended up at the knackery.
He was a part of Australian history!!
He had clearly been neglected for some time! His feet were going to take a long time to get sorted. He needed lots of hoof oiling and lots of important supplements for hoof health!
His teeth were just as bad.
He was a sweet gentle giant but sadly had some trust issues (understandably!).
Humphrey took little Temby under his wing and took care of the little colt when Temby began his CP journey.
Sadly Humphrey died from heart failure in 2015.
